Membership is available to anyone, whether you are a keen driver looking to participate in events, have an interest in cars and would like to become involved in club activities, or just
wish to enjoy mixing with like-minded enthusiasts.
You can join as a single member or joint member, with spouse, partner or family member. If you are under 18 and wish to join as a single member, please contact the Registrar on the

Although we are formally a Limited Company, we aim to run the Club with the minimum of bureaucracy – we hold one formal Annual General Meeting (which is usually very short) to approve the accounts, elect Directors and conduct any other necessary business, but all other Club meetings are very informal, as a gathering of friends – usually held as a “noggin and natter” event on the first Thursday of each month.

Being a Motorsport UK affiliated club brings with it a number of mandatory requirements which provide reassurance to members and entrants alike as well as providing a sound structure for the governance and promotion of Lancashire Automobile Club. Policies are reviewed on a regular basis and updated in line with best practice guidance. A number of policies and supporting procedures have been put in place to cover subjects including cyber and data security, safeguarding, and environmental best practice and these are available to download here.
