In order to join the club, we need to know ceratin details about you, if you select the Join the Club option from the website menu, the screen will display a page asking you for the following information:
Membership type - click Please Choose and select the type of membership you want.
Email address - this address is used by the club to send you administration and information emails, it cannot have been used by another member in the club.
First and Last names - self explanatory
If you selected a joint membership type, please enter the first and last names of the joint member. If the joint member requires emails to be sent separately, enter their email address as well - it cannot be the same as yours.
When you have supplied this information, press the Next key, the screen page will be replaced with one asking for your address.
You need to supply at least one of the phone numbers.
Again, when the information is supplied, press the Next key.
You will now be asked to supply a username and password that you will use to access the members area of the website, you can choose any username you wish but it must not have been used by another member and the password should not be obvious, it needs to be at least 8 characters long and it is a good idea to include characters like & and % to make it harder to guess.
When Next is pressed again, you will be asked to confirm that you accept the club's terms (use the Consent Statement link to read the terms).
The page also asks you to indicate your preferences for several other options and to choose the way in which you heard about the club.
Pressing Next moves you on to the payment step, please choose the method of payment you wish to use and press Continue.
If you chose Direct Debit, you will be redirected to the GoCardless site for you to create a Direct Debit Mandate. GoCardless are the company we use to handle your direct debit mandates. Their website is secure and they handle all the interaction with your bank. In this way we have no sight of your bank details. You do not need to contact your bank.
If you chose Credit Card, the credit card transaction will be handled by Tyl, part of Natwest, again, their secure website takes your credit card details and we have no sight of them.
