- Tues 13th – Annual General Meeting 08.00pm at Whalley Golf Club Ltd
Long Leese Barn, Clerk Hill, Whalley, Lancashire. BB7 9DR. Your chance to hear how the Club is progressing and to make your views known. Members only. - Friday 23rd – Lancashire Automobile Club Annual Bash. The Club’s Dinner Dance & Prize Presentation Evening at Mitton Hall, Whalley, BB7 9PQ. 3 Course Dinner, dancing and awards.

April
- Sun 21st – St George’s Day Run this time starting from Cafe Lazio at Huntley’s, Samlesbury and goin to Helwith Bridge and returning via Pendle Hill to finish with a buffet at Blackburn Northern Sports. The event is a ‘Touring Assembly’ and is non-competitive. The Route Book is a simple Tulip type but has full written directions for those not familiar with the Tulip format.

May
Sat 18th– The Fellsman Classic (Navigational Run through parts of Cumbria and north Lancashire) Srarting from Crooklands Starting from Café Ambio at Junction 36 on the M6, the route explores Southern Cumbria via numerous exciting lanes with outstanding views, weather permitting. It then returns to the Cafe Ambrio. The Afternoon section from Café Ambio will take in some of the areas finest touring roads, many familiar to LAC members, to finish at Knowle Green, near Longridge, where a hot meal will be served. This event gives a choice of route books from full navigation to simple Tulip – your choice.

- Sunday 23rd – Lancashire Automobile Club Kendal 100. This event revives the spirit of one of the early Reliability Trials from 1904 organised by the LAC’s predescessor the North East Lancashire Automobile Club. The route starts from the Cafe Lazio at Huntley’s to to Kendal using roads from other events from the ealy days. It then follows as closely as possible the original route from Kendal to Whalley. The route book is a simple descriptive set of instructions in the spirit of the original event.

July
- Sat 13th – The Annual Coast to Coast Classic Tour. (Morecambe to Sandside). Lots of ‘new’ roads. The event is a ‘Touring Assembly’ and is non-competitive. The Route Book is a simple Tulip type but has full written directions for those not familiar with the Tulip format. In addition there is a simple Concoure d’Elegance at the finish.
ImportantAs we have used Dunsley Hall for a few years now, I am delighted to say they have agreed to host the Event again in 2024.

September
- 12-16th The Welsh 3 Day Tour. Based on a hotel in north Wales the entrants will gather on Thursday 12th September. The tours are on the Friday and Saturday then return home on Sunday 15th September after a lunch.
The event is3-day Touring Assembly aimed at Classic and other interesting cars. The navigation will be simple, primarily using a tulip road book with descriptive text.
The event has it’s base to the beautiful Conway Valley in North Wales affording access to some fine roads and scenery plus the company of fellow motoring enthusiasts.
