Message from Aintree Circuit Club regarding Southoport Marine Drive Sprint.
You may be aware that LAC are an invited Club to our Southport Marine Drive Sprint and would invite entries from your members to compete at Southport on the 14th Sept…entries close 7th Sept.
We unfortunately had a date clash last year with Harewood…we are restricted by the availability of Victoria Park, which is the event paddock..
This is the only closed road speed course in the North of England and we need good support from Northern Competitors.
For 2024, we have doubled the length of the course, which runs along the seafront Marine Drive , under The Pier in both directions to just over 1 mile.
We are now also raising funds at the event, for the terrible events that occurred in Southport a few weeks ago.
